Who Is Required to do KYC:
-Photo Identification (Unexpired) that contains full name + address + expiry date(Front + Back) - Unedited
- Physical Address + Proof of Physical Address(last 90 days) - This may only be a utility bill, phone bill or other "reasonable" document that shows your name and address that matches your photo identification.
MMOSWAP Is a Communications Platform that does not engage in the handling or distribution of anything on our site. Our entire business model is simply bringing buyer A to Seller A that we collect a fee for, that is it. That being said, we still require KYC to prevent bad actors from interacting with the platform.
We do NOT identify as any of the following:
Asset managers
Banks, building societies and credit unions
Consumer credit services
Crypto exchanges
Money transfer services
Payment institutions
Safety deposit services
Accountants and auditors
Art dealers (high value)
Estate agents and letting agents
Financial advisors
Gaming operators
Lawyers
Tax advisors
No parts of our business falls within these parameters, as such we are not required to preform KYC, but do anyway to protect our platform and users communicating on it.
- Merchants that pass more then $5,000 USD in sales must complete KYC, all transactions and withdrawals will be held until completed.
- Merchants wanting to sell Gift cards or Ebooks or any other "higher risk" items must immediately complete KYC before being authorized to sell.
- MMOSWAP reserves the right to require KYC verification on any user of the site at any time with no basis beyond needing to protect our platform. If for any reason MMOSWAP believes your documents to be fake or you refuse to provide KYC documents, your merchant account will be terminated and you will be fined $500 each month(starting immediately) that proper KYC is not completed. Any funds seized through this initative will be donated to a charity at the end of each year.
